Privacy Policy

Last updated 05 November 2026. These terms apply to business, university, government and research customers of TripleBond Scientific Inc.

Who we are

TripleBond Scientific Inc., 5-67 Watson Road South, Guelph, ON, Canada N1L 1E3, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and requests may be sent to info@triplebond-canada.com.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote, supply and support a business order:

We do not collect special categories of personal information, and we do not ask for or receive payment card numbers. Card payments are processed entirely by our payment processor.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries and provide quotations; to confirm availability, shipping and the final total; to process and dispatch orders and prepare customs documentation; to issue invoices and keep accounting records; to verify that goods are supplied to eligible organisations and comply with export control obligations; to provide customer and technical support; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests in operating and securing the business, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Marketing

We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to. If we ever do, every message will carry an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to fulfil your order: with couriers and customs brokers for shipping and clearance; with our payment processor to collect payment; with our accountant and banking providers for invoicing and reconciliation; with our website and database provider, which hosts the site and stores order and account records; with the form-notification service that relays new orders and website enquiries to our own inbox; and with authorities, auditors or advisers where we are legally required to do so. We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own purposes.

International transfer and storage

TripleBond operates from Canada. Our website, authentication and database services are provided by Google (Firebase), and notification emails about new orders and enquiries are relayed by a third-party form service. Records may be stored or processed on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be accessible to the courts and authorities of that country under its own laws. We use providers that apply recognised contractual and technical safeguards to protect the information.

How long we keep it

Order, invoicing and tax records are retained for the period required by Canadian tax and corporate law, which is generally six years after the end of the relevant tax year. Customer accounts and correspondence are kept while the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to regulated materials and export compliance are kept for as long as the applicable rules require.

Security

Access to customer and order records is restricted to the account holder and to authorised TripleBond personnel. The site is served over encrypted connections, order records are protected by database access rules, and banking details are never published on the website: they are released only on a confirmed order page visible to the account holder, on the invoice, and in payment instructions sent by email.

Your rights

Subject to Canadian privacy legislation, you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep, withdraw a consent you have given, or complain about how we have handled your information. Email info@triplebond-canada.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart and your currency preference, and your authentication provider sets a cookie or token to keep you signed in. Clearing your browser data removes these.

If this policy changes we will update the date shown at the foot of this page.
